Society for Cultural Exchange is a non-profit organization founded by Elizabeth Monoian that, through interdisciplinary processes, is dedicated to the perpetuation of free-thought —a thinking for the self while considering the facts of the world as experienced by us each as individuals and shared by us all as a collective society.

Objectives and purposes of
Society for Cultural Exchange


1) To facilitate dialogue amongst local, national, and international artists, researchers, community leaders, and the general public.

2) To provide workshops, lectures, classes, and educational programs that further to create cultural exchanges.

3) To present collaborative and interdisciplinary projects in the public sphere.

4) To create and expose models of environmental sustainability both within and outside of the context of art.

5) To provide residency, travel, equipment, and necessary resources for the above mentioned cultural exchanges.

6) To directly engage in and to provide facilities for others to engage in the promotion of the arts.
